Our Story

Pe Nutrition® was founded by two university friends, John and James, who shared a love of fitness and nutrition. As avid gym-goers, they found themselves constantly researching and trying the latest supplements to enhance their workouts. However, they grew frustrated with the lack of transparency and efficacy in many products on the market.

John had a background in food science, while James had business experience. Together, they saw an opportunity to create a supplement brand that delivered real results through scientifically-proven ingredients and formulations. With a small initial investment, they rented a tiny unit, bought some basic equipment, and got to work developing their first product – a whey protein powder.

After months of testing and refining, John and James were thrilled with their protein formula and began selling it locally. The feedback from customers was extremely positive, and word quickly spread about the new brand with the eye-catching logo. Within a year, Pe Nutrition® protein powders were being stocked in gyms and health shops around the UK.

Buoyed by their early success, John and James expanded the Pe Nutrition® line to include more sports supplements like creatine, pre-workout, and BCAAs. They also moved into a larger production facility to meet growing demand. However, the focus remained on creating clean, effective formulas to give their customers a nutritional edge.

Over the next few years, Pe Nutrition® continued to grow rapidly. More specialty products were added to the range, including performance gainers, fat burners, and vegan proteins. The brand also started sponsoring fitness athletes and cultivating a strong social media presence to engage with their loyal customers.

In 2016, a major European investment group acquired Pe Nutrition® in recognition of its strong growth prospects and reputation for quality. This allowed John and James to invest in more advanced manufacturing capabilities and expand Pe Nutrition’s reach across Europe. However, the brand’s pioneering founders remained actively involved to ensure its commitment to product excellence.
